Simon Hunt was born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and raised in England and the United States. His first book of poems, Lesser Magi, was published in 2018 (Hummingbird Press: Santa Cruz, California). He co-edited Renaissance Culture and the Everyday (Philadelphia: University of Pennsylvania Press, 1999) and contributed an essay to that volume. His poems have appeared in many print and online publications. The father of two, he has taught English at various levels for more than 30 years in California, Missouri, Nevada, and Massachusetts.
